Process
The process to work with Zaiten is conceptually very simple. You tell us what you want your system to do, then we design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software that does exactly what you want.
Or, if you have a development team already, they tell us what they’d like us to do, and we do it.
Most of our clients prefer to use Agile development methodologies, and some prefer more traditional approaches.
To get started, we typically have a discussion with you to understand your business and technical objectives, prepare a detailed proposal, review the proposal with you, modify the proposal to precisely suit your needs, and then start the design and implementation process, with frequent and detailed communication every step of the way. All of the project documents, specifications, schedules, timesheets, source code, test plans, demos, and every other piece of project documentation, is available to you online 24×7.
We use your preferred systems for project and document management. If you have no preference we typically use Jira/Confluence.
We routinely integrate with several 3rd party service providers (e.g. Plaid, Finicity, Google, USPS, Twilio …) when implementing client systems.
Before software deployment we provide demos and enable you to do User Acceptance Testing. Once you are satisfied that the system meets your business needs, we deploy, support and maintain the new system.
